About
I look at a house for what it will cost you after you own it.

My story
From buying at industrial scale to reading buildings
I have always walked the streets of my town looking at houses. When my corporate job was abolished, I followed that pull into real estate, and I have been a licensed broker since 2003.
Before real estate, I was a professional buyer for a major Canadian dairy: cost analysis, inventory management and projects at industrial scale. From 2011 to 2024, I was in the window and entrance door business: high-end windows and entrance doors made to our specifications in Europe, and in the later years, windows and doors made in our own factory. I held the RBQ licence, did window take-offs from architectural plans, and visited and inspected our job sites. I sold the business at the end of 2024, and I am back in real estate full-time because it is the work I do best.
The open door in my logo is a nod to those years. Every building starts with a door: it's the one thing you must walk through to get inside.

The window and door years

What that background gives my clients
Four habits I bring to every file
I read buildings before the inspection.
Quality versus standard materials, structural warning signs, failing windows.
I read plans.
Years of window take-offs from architectural drawings taught me to see what a renovation or an addition will really involve.
I think in total cost.
Not just the purchase price: what a property will ask of you over the next few years.
I negotiate like a buyer.
With evidence, and knowing which terms matter most.
What I believe
How I think about real estate
Time in the market beats timing it.
Real estate rewards the years you hold it more than the month you buy.
I will tell you to spend less.
The worst habit in this industry is pushing people above their budget.
A deal has to work for both sides.
I price to true value, whether I represent the buyer or the seller.
I'm not selling entertainment.
I'm selling real estate. Most mornings start with laps in the pool or a bike ride, then a cappuccino, then the first call.
